Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Chandigarh and transfer to Mnali

  • As soon as you meet our friendly representative at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station, we’ll start our journey towards the charming hill station of Manali, which sits over 2000 meters above sea level, nestled in the Beas River Valley. Manali is a favourite spot for visitors from all over, known for its breathtaking scenery. You can reach Manali through the national highway that heads towards the Ladakh area.
  • Surrounded by snowy mountains, and home to diverse plants and animals, Manali is a place you must visit. It’s said that Manali got its name from Manu, a wise man who is believed to have brought human life back after a massive flood. In Old Manali, there’s an old temple dedicated to him. Other must-see spots in this peaceful town include the Hadimba Temple, the Manali Sanctuary, Arjun Gufa, and Jagatsukh. Once we arrive at your hotel, you can check in and relax. Enjoy a tasty dinner and have a good night’s sleep at your hotel in Manali.

Day 2Day Trip to Manikran Via Kasol Sightseeing

  • This morning, after enjoying your breakfast and tea, you’ll set off for Kasol and Manikaran. These places are nestled in the beautiful Parvati Valley, alongside the Parvati River, situated to the northeast of Bhuntar in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu District. Standing at an elevation of 1760 meters, Manikaran is just 4 km away from Kasol and roughly 35 km from Kullu. This quaint town is a magnet for travellers heading to Manali and Kullu, thanks to its renowned hot springs and sacred sites. Moreover, it’s home to an innovative geothermal energy project.
  • Manikaran is famed for having the hottest Sulphur spring waters on the planet. It’s a sacred place frequented by scores of Hindus and Sikhs. On your journey back towards Kullu, don’t miss the chance to stop by the famous Kullu Shawl Industry. It’s the perfect spot to pick up some gifts. Plus, you can experience the thrill of river rafting in Manikaran.

Day 3Transfer from Manali to Dharamshala and Local sightseeing

  • After having breakfast, pack up and set off for Dharamshala. This place is not just the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh in the Kangra district but also the residence of the Dalai Lama. Known as ‘Dharamshala,’ which translates to a shelter for travellers, it lives up to its name. The majestic Dhauladhar mountains serve as a breathtaking backdrop to this beautiful hill station. As you travel, enjoy the refreshing streams, lush green forests of pine and deodar, the clean, fresh air, and the mesmerizing mountain views that accompany you.
  • Feel the gentle breeze and soak up the beautiful landscapes en route. When you reach Dharamshala, check into your hotel. Later, go out to explore some notable sights such as the famous Tibetan Medical Centre, known for its unique treatments using ancient Tibetan medicines.
  • Don’t miss the St. John Church, one of the region’s oldest, renowned for its Belgian stained-glass windows gifted by Lady Elgin. Additionally, make time to visit the Kangra Art Museum, Tea Gardens, and the Kunal Pathri Temple.

Day 4Dharamshala (Nau Devi Darshan) - Kangra (1 Hr) / Mata Jwala Ji Temple / Maa Bhagula Mukhi / Kangra Devi

Start your day with a trip to Kangra, ready to explore some beautiful temples. First, visit the Mata Jwala Ji Temple, located 34 kms south of Kangra. This special place is devoted to Goddess Jwalamukhi, famous for its nine eternal flames named after various Indian goddesses. Once you’ve paid your respects there, head over to the Maa Bhagula Mukhi Temple to seek wisdom and blessings from Maa Bhagula, who is revered as the source of universal knowledge. Don’t miss the chance to also visit the Kangra Devi Temple for more blessings. After these visits, feel free to relax and enjoy your time as you please. End your day with a comfortable overnight stay at a hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 5Transfer from Dharamshala to Dalhousie

Leave your hotel after breakfast and then drive towards Dalhousie, a well-known mountain resort that offers a cool retreat during the summer months in Himachal. Keep an eye out for interesting rock art featuring Buddhist gods on the ridge’s southern side. The charming scenery, filled with vibrant rhododendrons, lush greenery, and clean air, makes Dalhousie even more beautiful. Many Tibetan refugees have also made this place their home. If you’re interested, take some time to explore the old churches from the British period, like St John’s (built in 1863) and St Francis (constructed in 1894), or stroll through the local market places at Subhash Chowk and Gandhi Chowk. You’ll have the evening to yourself to enjoy as you please. Spend the night at a hotel in Dalhousie.

Day 6Panchpula, Kalatop Wild Life Sanctuary Sightseeing

Today, after enjoying a tasty breakfast, embark on an exciting sightseeing adventure in Dalhousie. Start with the town’s four charming churches – St. Andrew’s, St. Patrick’s, St. Francis, and St. John’s, located at Gandhi Chowk. Not far from there, about a kilometer away, make your way to Subhash Baoli. This beautiful spot, surrounded by towering trees, is where the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is said to have spent time in 1937, reflecting and meditating. Next, head over to Panchpula, a lovely picnic area where a small stream fills a series of natural pools, creating a picturesque setting. Your last stop for the day is the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, a haven for wildlife including the ghoral and the Himalayan black bear. After a day full of exploration, relax with an overnight stay at your hotel in Dalhousie.

Day 7Departure from Dalhousie to Chandigarh

After having our morning meal, we leave the hotel and head towards Chandigarh by road, which will take us about 8 hours. Once we reach, you’ll be taken to the airport or train station so you can catch your flight or train back home.
