Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Jaipur

  • When you reach Jaipur, our team will meet you, help with your bags, and take you to your hotel. Welcome to Jaipur, the “Pink City,” known for its warm hospitality and beautiful historic sites like forts, temples, and palaces. We’ll check you into your hotel so you can relax after your journey.
  • You can take an extra trip to see the Laxminarayan Temple, also called Birla Mandir, famous for its bright white marble. It’s dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. Another option is to visit Chokhi Dhani, a village resort showcasing the local culture, art, traditions, and tasty traditional food all in one place.
  • After your visit, we’ll take you back to the hotel, where you can rest for the night in Jaipur.

Day 2Jaipur Full-Day Sightseeing

  • Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then set off to explore the vibrant city of Jaipur. Our journey begins at Amer Fort, located 11 km away, where you can wander through its four majestic levels. Opt for an elephant ride for a unique experience, or simply enjoy the view of Maota Lake and the historical Kesar Kyari Garden, designed for royal ladies’ enjoyment back in the 1600s.
  • Next, we visit the Shila Devi Temple, home to the revered idol of Durga, brought here by Raja Man Singh I in the 1600s as a fulfilment of a vow. Marvel at the exquisite Sheesh Mahal or Mirror Palace, famous for its magical flower carving on marble, revealing seven unique designs.
  • Discover the Panna Meena Bawri, an ancient stepwell once reserved for queens, and Man Sagar Lake, a picturesque spot created by damming the Dravyavati River in 1610. Time permitting, we’ll explore the City Palace, the royal residence with its stunning pink facade, and Hawa Mahal, the iconic Palace of Breeze, offering a glimpse into the royal lifestyle.
  • Conclude your day with a return to your hotel in Jaipur, where you’ll relax and stay overnight, reminiscing about the day’s rich cultural and historical experiences.

Day 3Transfer from Jaipur to Jodhpur - Jodhpur Half Day Sightseeing

After breakfast early in the morning, we will head to Jodhpur. Once we arrive, we’ll check into our hotel and then start a half-day tour of the city. We’ll visit the Mandore Gardens, known for its beautiful history and as the resting place of the Marwar kings, featuring temples and memorials. We’ll also see the famous Jaswant Thada, a grand memorial built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899. In the evening, we return to our hotel to stay overnight.

Day 4Transfer from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

After breakfast, leave the hotel and head towards Jaisalmer, the city of deserts, which is 285 km away and takes about 5 hours to reach. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or desert camp. Spend the night in Jaisalmer.

Day 5Jaisalmer Half Day Sightseeing - Sand Dunes & Lake

  • This morning, take it easy before we head out for an afternoon of exploration in Jaisalmer. We’ll visit the historic Gadisar Lake first, a vital water reservoir made by Jaisalmer’s founder, Raja Rawal Jaisal. Admire the ancient ghats and temples around it while enjoying a peaceful boat ride, accompanied by the sounds of nature.
  • Later, we’ll venture about 40 km to the Sam Sand Dunes in the Thar Desert. Experience the thrill of a jeep safari or camel ride (available at extra cost) to catch a stunning sunset. In the evening, enjoy live music, traditional dances, and tasty Rajasthani dishes at a desert camp.
  • Our day ends with a return to the hotel for a restful night in Jaisalmer.

Day 6Jaisalmer Sightseeing & Transfer to Jodhpur - Departure from Jodhpur

  • Start your day with breakfast at the hotel or desert camp, then set off for a final tour of the historic city, beginning with the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort at its heart, the second oldest in Rajasthan, named after and built by Rawal Jaisal. This fort is unique because it is a living fort, with shops, hotels, and ancient homes within its walls since 1156, earning it the nicknames “Sonar Kila” and “Golden Fort” for its golden yellow sandstone.
  • Visit the Raj Mahal, an ancient seven-story palace inside the fort, and explore the spiritual Laxminath and Jain Temples. The Laxminath Temple, dating back to 1494, honours Vishnu and Lakshmi, providing a panoramic city view. The Jain Temples are a marvel of art, with beautiful frescoes and detailed carvings. Don’t miss the Tazia Tower and its stunning balconies, and the grand Jawahar Niwas Palace.
  • Next, marvel at the Patwon ki Haveli, a lavish 19th-century trader’s mansion, now a set of five grand havelis for Guman Chand Patwa’s sons. Nathmal Ki Haveli, a mix of Rajput and Mughal architecture, shows off exquisite craftsmanship. Finally, see the Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, once the prime minister’s residence, known for its unique beauty.
  • Conclude your journey with a 5-hour drive to Jodhpur Airport or Railway Station, carrying memories of this incredible experience.
